Ember Black Soap Dye
Shepherd Textiles Ember Black is a plant-based natural dye developed specifically for use in cold process soap. Made from cosmetic-grade European softwood charcoal, it will give your soap a deep black shade that is resistant to fading. It’s also easy to use: just mix with distilled water to make a paste, and then stick-blend into the oil base to produce a rich and even color. Use just 1 gram of Ember Black per pound of soap for a deep black. A one-ounce jar will dye 28 pounds of soap.
