Superfine Alpaca (23.5 μm)

Superfine alpaca is not quite as soft as baby grade, but it’s still plenty soft for against-the-skin wear, and comparable to fine merino. This is an excellent choice for big projects: when we need to spin enough yarn for a shawl or a blanket, superfine alpaca is one of our top choices because it is affordable, durable, easy to work with, and yields a wonderful final product. Our superfine alpaca comes in three natural colors. The roving is light and open, which makes it pleasant to spin, and produces yarns that are warmer than wool.
